What are some good sites that will help me learn German? I want to Learn how to speak and write German. I only know 3 words, Ich liebe dich; I want to know some free websites that will teach me everything about German. I also would like some advise.

If you want to learn to speak German, i suggest reading though our German Lessons Online. Aside from thatLiveMocha is good.

    LiveMocha is good. I'm doing it right now. Doesn't focus on grammar much, which would probably HELP someone learn German, considering it can be a complex language at times. (I suspect LiveMocha subscribes to the "teaching-grammar-is-bad" school of thought.)

    if you need an online dictionary, check this site:

    it's a translation program from a university in Munich. just type in the word you're looking for, hit go and once you have the results you can click on the speaker symbol to listen to the pronounciation.
